Engineering Detail
Absolute Anti-Tilt. Mechanical Drawer Interlock.
A precision-engineered interlock system that ensures only one loaded drawer can be opened at any time. Designed for industrial environments where stability is critical.
- ✓ Single-drawer release. Once opened, all remaining drawers remain mechanically locked.
- ✓ Up to 200 kg per drawer. Heavy industrial load classes supported.
- ✓ Engineered metal linkage. Not plastic rail-based restriction systems.
Designed for manufacturing floors and maintenance workshops.
Mechanism
Mechanical Interlock Architecture
OTTOKIND drawer cabinets use a physical interlock system that prevents more than one drawer from being extended at any time.
- Mechanical linkage across the drawer stack
- Locks remaining drawers once one drawer is extended
- Designed for repeated industrial duty cycles
- Compatible with full-extension heavy-load runners
Operational Guidance
Correct Load Distribution Required
Stability depends on correct loading practice. Cabinets must be loaded bottom heavy in accordance with installation guidance.
- Heavier tooling stored in lower drawers
- Lighter items positioned higher
- Rated drawer capacities not exceeded
- Installed on level, load-bearing flooring
The Absolute Anti-Tilt system reduces multi-drawer extension risk. It does not override basic mechanical physics.
