OTTOKIND has been making industrial workspace equipment in Gummersbach, North Rhine-Westphalia since the early 1900s. The range has evolved from traditional fixed workbenches to the current modular, height-adjustable and acoustically engineered systems used in factories across Europe.
What has not changed is the manufacturing approach: welded steel frames, verified load ratings and a modular system designed to last. Frames produced in 2010 accept current accessories without modification. That consistency reduces the long-term cost of equipping a production area.

Not every workbench is built for industrial use.
Generic benches and basic acoustic foam are suitable for some applications. They become less suitable when load requirements are high, when operators of different heights share the same station, when production layouts need to change, or when noise reduction requirements go beyond what foam panels can provide.
OTTOKIND products are designed for demanding industrial environments and tested to engineering standards. The modular system means the original frame investment is not wasted when tasks change. Accessories, surfaces, storage and lighting can be reconfigured rather than replaced.
That is a different proposition from a catalogue bench bought on price. It is not always the right answer. But for production areas where the equipment needs to perform consistently under load, adapt over time and integrate with other systems, it is worth considering properly.
